The Hypercube robotics team recently had the chance to meet an expert in the field, Iulius-Alexander Vasilescu. He is a graduate of the University of Plymouth, currently working with the aplication of robotics and 3D printing in the creation of prosthetics.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”Video” _builder_version=”4.3.4″ custom_padding=”0px||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

He showed us a couple of prototypes for robotic arms and explained how they could be attached to a patient who had lost his fingers. Towards the end we talked at length about what studying in the UK is like and what career opportunities can arise in such programs.
